The 2026 WNBA Draft Class is so stacked that some of the top international talent is flying under the radar. By now, every WNBA fan knows about Awa Fam—the Spanish teen lauded as one of the top European prospects in recent years. Fam isn’t the only European prospect to keep an eye on, though.
Iyana Martín is one of the best young point guards outside the college game, and Nell Angloma is a top wing prospect. The latter just issued a bold reminder of her potential, leading Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomération to a 79-76 win over Angers in the top French league.
Angloma is her team’s leading scorer this season and filled that role admirably against Angers. She scored 31 points on 9-11 shooting from the field, including two made threes. She also made all seven of her free throws and got four rebounds and three assists. It was her highest-scoring game of the season.

Angloma is only 19 years old, but her talent has been on full display this season. She actually leads the French league in total points scored ten games into the season with 157. Anna Ngo Ndjock is not far behind with 152 points over eight games, though. Given her individual success and her team’s success, Angloma is one of the top MVP candidates in the French league.
Angloma is a versatile wing prospect. She is a strong driver and thrives in transition, but can also knock down some threes and get to the free-throw line. Moreover, Angloma can impact a game defensively. She recorded 12 steals and five blocks over ten games in the French league and nine steals and one block over six EuroCup games.
Versatile two-way wings who can score at a high level and space the floor are always valuable in the WNBA. They become even more valuable when they are young, already have experience playing professionally, and are only just scratching the surface of their potential. Thus, Angloma should be an interesting prospect for WNBA teams, even if she doesn’t make the move to the U.S. right away.
ESPN mocked Angloma to be selected fifteenth by the Connecticut Sun, while CBS Sports had her go fourteenth overall to the Storm. Both would be solid destinations for Angloma. Connecticut is just amassing young talent at the moment and has plenty of developmental minutes available if she were to come over right away. The Sun also still lacks that young big-time star. In Seattle, Angloma could team up with fellow French youngster Dominique Malonga. Moreover, selecting a wing with the fourteenth pick would round out the Storm’s young core, given that they will likely select a guard in the lottery.
