The Indiana Fever are remaking their team in hopes of chasing a championship. They have their superstar in Caitlin Clark and have already hired a new head coach and remade their front office. Indiana recognizes they have the brightest young star in the league and does not want to waste a second of her prime. The architects of their last successful run are back to reach new heights.

Stephanie White returns as head coach after leading the Fever to the WNBA Finals in 2015. She is excited about Clark and Aliyah Boston forming a legendary duo. Number 22 is already one of the best players in the world, but they need more talent around her to make a serious title push.

White mentioned the team’s Big 3 during her introductory presser, but Kelsey Mitchell is a free agent this offseason. Some wondered if the new head coach was lumping Lexie Hull into the group, but they got their answer from Scott Agness.

Indiana Fever all but confirmed Kelsey Mitchell will be back

Agness was quick to confirm that Mitchell joins Boston and Clark as the third member of their Big 3. She is an unrestricted free agent, but the Fever can make her a core player. It means paying her the maximum salary for the 2025 season, but Indiana should not hesitate to keep the two-time All-Star.

Mitchell took a massive step forward playing off Clark. She became one of the WNBA’s best scorers and play finishes. Teams had headaches trying to figure out how to guard the Fever’s stars. That will only be more difficult with Stephanie White taking over and calling the plays.

Indiana is not satisfied just bringing back their Big 3. They want to make roster upgrades and chase a championship in 2025. The Fever will have enough money to add another max player and re-sign Mitchell. Fans heard the Satou Sabally rumblings. Whether it is her or another marquee talent, Indiana wants to make a splash as soon as possible.

White has been in the WNBA Semifinals in three of her last four seasons as a head coach. She knows how to win and has done it with Kelly Krauskopf in Indiana before. Expect the duo to upgrade their roster and be in a prime position playing off Caitlin Clark in 2025.

The Indiana Fever are a team to watch this offseason. Who can they add to help Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell? Stay tuned to find out. The Fever are willing to do whatever it takes, so do not be surprised if they make a massive splash.
