The Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever are playing against one another on Sunday afternoon. The highly-anticipated contest is set to receive plenty of attention. The Fever are currently 6-6 and the Aces are 5-7 overall. Despite their mediocre records, Indiana and Las Vegas remain two of the most popular teams in the entire WNBA.

The Fever and Aces feature superstars such as Caitlin Clark and A'ja Wilson on their rosters. Wilson has been the face of the WNBA for years now, while Clark is quickly emerging as one of the most popular stars in the league. Before Sunday's game, Clark was asked to share her thoughts on Wilson's game, via Moreau Sports Media Prod Co.

"We're quite different players... I mean, I think she just plays with an energy and a tenacity about her that really affects her team," Clark said. "That's probably as a competitor what I appreciate the most... When she's on the floor, it's completely different."

Wilson is a competitor without question. She plays the game hard and does everything she can to help her team win. Clark also added that she likes more about Wilson's game that only her competitive fire, however.

"She affects the game in so many ways offensively and defensively," Clark continued. "I think that's just what's incredible about the way she plays, the energy, she plays fast. She can dribble, she can shoot, she can attack the glass. There's just so many ways that she continues to affect the game. I think it's that and just the competitive spirit she brings for her team."

Wilson is arguably still the best player in the league. The three-time MVP has been consistently great over the past few years. Napheesa Collier is probably the MVP favorite right now and Clark is becoming a true MVP candidate as well. WIth all of that being said, consistency is crucial and Wilson has been a consistent star in the WNBA.

A'ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark may respect one another, but on Sunday they are looking to lead their teams to big victories. A win for Las Vegas would feel like an important statement as they try to become a contender once again. The same can be said for an Indiana team that has not lived up to their lofty preseason expectations up to this point in the season.

The game will likely be exciting regardless of which team emerges victorious.
