There are under two weeks left in the 2024 WNBA regular season. It's the time of the year when teams want to gel together, not fall apart. Las Vegas Aces fans thought the world was ending on Sunday when A'ja Wilson wore a boot and missed the game against the Liberty.

Wilson injured her ankle in Friday's 72-67 win over the Sun. It was serious enough for her to miss her first game in over five years, which caused fans to panic even more. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when Becky Hammon said pregame that the boot was "precautionary" and that A'ja could play against the Fever.

The Aces have had a few losing skids this season, and that was with the best player in the world. It goes without saying that without A'ja, Las Vegas would be in a troublesome position entering the postseason. Luckily, the Aces shouldn't be in that position.
