Team USA men's basketball defeated France on Saturday in the gold medal game. France challenged the USA throughout the contest, but Stephen Curry caught fire towards the end of the game and could not miss from beyond the arc. The USA ultimately won 98-87 as Curry led the way with 24 points to go along with eight three-pointers. Caitlin Clark took notice of Curry's performance and shared a two word response on her Instagram story.

"Cheat code," Clark wrote.

Curry can certainly be referred to as a "cheat code." France was only a few points behind Team USA before Curry took over late in the fourth quarter. With the USA leading 82-79, Curry made a three-pointer that electrified the crowd. He would proceed to connect on three more consecutive three-point attempts as the USA pulled away from France.

At 35 years old, this may be Curry's final Olympics. Curry certainly ended his Olympics career on a high note if this is indeed the final time the Golden State Warriors star will compete for a gold medal.

Will Caitlin Clark join Stephen Curry and become a Team USA Olympics hero someday?

Caitlin Clark was left off of the Team USA women's basketball roster. The USA women's team will attempt to win their own gold medal on Sunday against France. They have found success despite Clark's absence, but perhaps Clark will be on the roster during the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Clark has helped the WNBA grow immensely as a result of her undeniable popularity. She is a fan-favorite who people want to watch play. The same can be said for Angel Reese, who is also a star rookie. It would not be surprising to see the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky stars playing for Team USA in four years.

For now, the USA women's team will prepare for their gold medal game. On the other hand, the USA men's team will celebrate their impressive victory over France.
