The Las Vegas Aces and forward Queen Egbo agreed to a contract on Monday, the team announced. A'ja Wilson and the Aces are looking to make another championship pursuit. However, the Aces have endured some frustrations during the 2024 season. Adding depth with the Ebgo signing could prove to be impactful.

Aces add Queen Egbo

Egbo, 24, has played at the WNBA level since 2022. She has spent time with a number of teams over the past few years, though. Egbo made her WNBA debut with the Indiana Fever during the '22 campaign. In 2023, she played for the Fever and Washington Mystics. Egbo has spent time with both the Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks so far in 2024.

For her career, Egbo has averaged 5.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. She will provide the Aces with further depth at the forward position, something every team understands is quite valuable.

Egbo is a respectable defender and rebounder. Her scoring can be inconsistent at times but the Aces will benefit from this move if Egbo plays up to her full potential on the defensive end of the floor. Of course, they will not complain if she takes a step forward from an offensive standpoint as well.

Las Vegas looking to win Western Conference

With A'ja Wilson leading the way, the Aces still have plenty of confidence. However, Las Vegas currently trails the Minnesota Lynx by 3.5 games in the Western Conference. The Aces would love nothing more than to erase the deficit and win the conference.

Perhaps the Queen Egbo signing will pay dividends down the stretch for an Aces team that wants to win a third consecutive championship.
