The Indiana Fever had a memorable 2024 season. They snapped their postseason drought, Caitlin Clark became one of the most popular players in the league and the team consistently sold out games. Will this Fever team continue its momentum in 2025? If Aliyah Boston and Clark take a step forward as a duo, Indiana could become a true championship contender.

The Fever have a big three in all reality, as Kelsey Mitchell is a star as well. Mitchell is 29 years old, however. Boston and Clark are both still only 23 years old. The duo holds the keys to the future of the franchise.

At training camp on Sunday, Boston revealed why she believes her partnership with Clark can continue to improve this season.

"I think it's going to be better for both of us," Boston said of now having experienced playing alongside Clark heading into 2025, via James Boyd of The Athletic. "Last year, obviously, at the beginning of the season it was a little rough just trying to figure out that play. But now, know exactly how we like to play, how we like to get the ball, what we like to do in transition.

"So I think it's just going to make it super easy because we're just going to be able to flow right into it."

Boston is set to enter her third season in the WNBA. The 2023 No. 1 overall pick has earned an All-Star selection in each of her first two years in the league. She also won the Rookie of the Year award in 2023.

Clark followed in Boston's footsteps in 2024, earning both an All-Star selection as well as the Rookie of the Year award after being selected first overall.

The Fever can build around Clark and Boston for years to come. At the moment, Indiana is focused on building around them in 2025, but the team's long-term future is intriguing.

With Clark and Boston now having a year of experience playing as teammates, they could realistically emerge as an unstoppable duo during the '25 campaign. Talent is necessary, but chemistry is what sets great teams apart from teams that fail to accomplish their goals.

The Fever have high expectations heading into the new season. Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark are ready to help Indiana take the next step forward and potentially make a championship run.
