A definitive ranking of an endlessly subjective debate.

Over the past few weeks, the High Post Hoops Slack channel has been an endless source of back-and-forth debate.

That’s always true, of course, but especially this time of year, when we put together our Top 20 WNBA Players For 2019.

More from WNBA

Last season’s list served as a fascinating case study in how preseason expectations cannot fully integrate what growth players have come back from overseas with, and so we waited an extra beat before sending this one out into the world.

To be clear on this: it is an aggregation of collective ratings, and there are numerous players who very nearly made our list, but just missed it. This is exclusive to 2019, which is to say: the metric is “Who will be the top 20 most valuable players for the 2019 season?”

Oh, and we asked a few of our league insiders for input as well.

So without further ado: here it is, our 2019 Top 20 WNBA Player Ranking! Part 1 is players 20-11. Come debate it with us.
