The league joined with Twitter to make live games available on the social media network in 2017. This season, they will kick off on Saturday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET on @WNBA. The opening game will feature the Washington Mystics and Connecticut Sun.

The schedule will feature primarily mid-week games, with most scheduled on Tuesday evenings. In addition to four mid-day games, the slate also includes two doubleheaders. On Tuesday, July 30, a Phoenix Mercury-Washington Mystics match-up at 7 p.m. will be followed by a 10 p.m. contest between the Dallas Wings and Las Vegas Aces. A second doubleheader will feature the Chicago Sky facing off against the Atlanta Dream at 7 p.m. and the Mercury against the Aces at 10 p.m. on Aug. 20.

Eighteen of the 20 games will feature at least one playoff team from 2018 with the defending champion Seattle Storm appearing four times.
