The Atlanta Dream have signed Blake Dietrick to a training camp contract. Dietrick joins Adaora Elonu, who signed a training camp contract with the club in February, on Atlanta’s training camp roster.

Dietrick starred collegiately at Princeton. She averaged 15.1 points, 4.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds as a senior and led the program to its first ever victory in the NCAA Tournament.

Dream head coach Nicki Collen cited the 5’10 guard’s versatility and three-point shooting in a team release:

"I am excited to see what Blake can bring to our training camp. She is a versatile guard who can play all three guard positions as well as defend all three positions, which is a luxury to have in the WNBA. Blake is a tireless worker who has continued to improve her game through overseas competition. She is the definition of tough and will do all the little things to make a team better.  She is a tremendous 3-point shooter with a high basketball IQ."

Dietrick is currently playing overseas for AO Dafni Agioy Dimitrioy in Greece.

After her senior season at Princeton, Dietrick participated in training camp with both the Los Angeles Sparks and Washington Mystics leading up to the start of the 2015 season. She then signed with the Seattle Storm in 2016 and appeared in three regular season games.

In addition to Elonu and Dietrick on the training camp roster, the Dream currently have 10 players under contract for the 2018 season. Atlanta signed Renee Montgomery, Maggie Lucas and Jessica Breland last month. The club also re-signed McCoughtry and reserved player Damiris Dantas. However, the Dream will be without one of its top wings in Bria Holmes, who announced in January that she is pregnant and will miss the upcoming WNBA season.
