WNBA teams and players were allowed to begin negotiating deals January 15, but those deals can officially be signed now that the calendar has turned to February. Here’s a running log of what we know from February 7, which shall officially be referred to as day five of WNBA free agency:

Lynx re-sign Zandalasini

The Minnesota Lynx have re-signed Cecilia Zandalasini, who signed with the team August 28 just prior to the end of the 2017 regular season.

Lynx sign Kizer, Miyem

The defending champs also announced the signings of Lynetta Kizer and Endy Miyem on Wednesday afternoon. Kizer played for the Sun in 2017, and Miyem is a 6’2 forward from France.

Storm acquire Natasha Howard

The Seattle Storm acquired restricted free agent Natasha Howard in a sign-and-trade with the Lynx. In return, Minnesota receives Seattle’s 2018 second round pick and swap rights on Seattle’s 2019 first round pick.
