The BIG EAST weekly honors were announced Monday. The conference named a Player of the Week, Freshman of the Week, and a five-player weekly honor roll for games played Tuesday-Sunday of last week.
Player of the Week: Allazia Blockton, Marquette, Jr., G
Blockton shot 71-percent from the floor, including 2-of-4 from deep. The Golden Eagles have won three of their last four games and now have a 6-4 record for the 2017-18 season.
Freshman of the Week: Tiana England, St. John’s, R-Fr., G
For the third time, England earns BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors. She dropped 17 points, five rebounds and five assists against Fordham on Tuesday. The Red Storm fell to the Rams 67-64 in double overtime.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Jaylyn Agnew, Creighton, So., G
No stranger to the BIG EAST Agnew stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, six assists and five rebounds as Creighton collected a third consecutive victory with a 72-65 win over South Dakota State.
Aaliyah Dunham, Xavier, Fr., G
The Musketeers bested Furman University 75-62 in the opening game of the West Palm Beach Invitational. Dunham dropped 14 points, six assists and three rebounds to aid the Xavier win.
Nicole Jimenez, Seton Hall, Jr., G
Jimenez went 6-of-7 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the arc Sunday night against UCLA. She also had three steals, two rebounds, and two assists to compliment her 20-point game.
Maya Singleton, St. John’s, Sr., F
Singleton’s 13 points and 15 rebounds earned her a sixth double-double. She also tallied four steals and two blocks.
Chante Stonewall, DePaul, So., F
Stonewall averaged 17.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in two games.
