Loryn Goodwin led OSU to an 87-72 win by scoring a team-high 27 points, which included a 9-of-9 effort from the charity stripe. She also registered six rebounds, five assists and three steals in the victory. This was Oklahoma State’s first win over a top-10 opponent since December of 2015 when the Cowgirls took down the Baylor Bears. Goodwin’s efforts led her to not only being the Big 12 player of the week, but also the national player of the week by ESPNW as well as the College Sports Madness Big 12 Player of the Week.

This was the second week in a row that Goodwin has received recognition from the league. The senior is setting a good example for the underclassmen, as Goodwin’s teammate, Braxtin Miller, was named freshman of the week by the Big 12.

Miller scored a season-high 19 points in the upset. She went eighty percent from the free-throw line, while also grabbing four rebounds, dishing out two assists and collecting two steals in 38 minutes of play.

Catch these two in action as they take on USC Upstate Tuesday December 19th, at 5pm.
