WNBA releases team merchandise sales statistics
The Minnesota Lynx were the most popular team and Elena Delle Donne was the most popular player in the WNBA this season, according to the merchandise statistics that the league released on Thursday.

The Lynx led the 12-team league in overall team merchandise sales on WNBAStore.com during the 2017 season, while more people bought Delle Donne’s jersey than anyone else’s.
Delle Donne’s team, the Washington Mystics, were the second-most popular, just ahead of the Seattle Storm (third) and Phoenix Mercury (fourth). The Lynx’ WNBA Finals opponent, the Los Angeles Sparks, came in fifth.
The Storm’s Breanna Stewart finished behind Delle Donne for individual jersey sales.
