Jefferson out for San Antonio; Sky re-sign Graves
By Erica Ayala
The San Antonio Stars will be without guard Moriah Jefferson tonight against the Chicago Sky. The team announced that the second-year guard from the University of Connecticut would miss the contest due to right knee soreness.
Jefferson has missed time throughout the season due to a variety of injuries. In 20 of 27 possible games for the Stars, Jefferson is averaging 8.9 points and 4.5 assists per game. The Stars are 3-0 in the month of August, but can only hope to play spoiler for the WNBA playoffs after a 0-14 start.
