The window for All-Star voting is officially open, and WNBA fans have daily opportunities to cast votes for their favorite players until June 27. Fans can submit one ballot per day.
The All-Star team is chosen based on a mixture of fan votes, player votes, and media votes. The All-Star Game is an exhibition match, but it's still a tremendous honor for players to be chosen. Each team is promoting players for fans to vote on—and it's possible a few teams could have all three players chosen this year.
The Indiana Fever has asked fans to cast votes for Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston. If they all make it, this would mark four consecutive All-Stars for Mitchell and Boston and the third for Clark (who served as a guest coach for one of the All-Star teams last year due to injury). The idea that the trio could all make the team is not only likely, it's well-deserved.
Despite the ups and downs, the Fever are producing impressive stats
Even though the Fever has definitely had a topsy-turvy season so far, the team is still producing results that are impressive. Clark, Mitchell, and Boston are all putting up big numbers: Clark leads the leagues in assists, and Boston and Mitchell are both putting up career-high scoring numbers (15.8 and 20.5 per game, respectively).
There's also no denying that the trio are each enormously popular with fans. Mitchell has been with the Fever since she was drafted as the No. 2 overall pick by Indiana in 2018, Boston as the No. 1 overall pick by the team in 2023, and Clark as the No. 1 overall pick in 2024. While Mitchell and Boston have definitely endeared themselves to fans and have their own individual bases of support, Clark has become one of the most famous basketball players in the world.
If Clark, Boston, and Mitchell are each all named All-Stars this season, no one will be surprised. They're earning it on merit, and they have the fan support they need. Other players in the league will vote for them, and there will be plenty of articles written between now and then that lay out why the trio deserves it. If the All-Star Game is more about giving fans a show than anything, having three players from what is one of the most well-known teams in the league not only makes sense, it's just good business—and it gives a lot of fans exactly what they want.
