Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have taken a tumble after the Olympic break, but luckily, they're still in a position to secure the final playoff spot. On Thursday, Chicago got a huge boost with Chennedy Carter's first practice back from an illness, and she'll play on Friday against Los Angeles.

The Sky need to snap their seven-game losing streak (subscription required). It helps that the last game they won was against the Sparks on Aug. 17. Why not flip the script and start a winning streak? Chicago needs to focus on one game at a time and stack wins.

Most intriguing game remaining on the Sky's schedule

Chicago's second-to-last regular season game could have huge playoff implications. The Sky and Dream have the same record, but Chicago has the 2-to-1 head-to-head tiebreaker over Atlanta. A win for the Sky could secure a playoff berth.

Who would the Sky face in the playoffs if the season ended today?

As the No. 8 seed, Chicago would play New York in the first round of the playoffs.
