The Liberty defeated the Aces in four games to advance to the 2024 WNBA Finals. New York is waiting to learn who it will face on the league's biggest stage. It will all come down to which team takes care of business in Game 5 on Tuesday — the Lynx or the Sun.
Minnesota could've punched its WNBA Finals ticket on Sunday, but the Sun won Game 4, 92-82. Except for Brionna Jones, Connecticut's starters scored in double digits. Tyasha Harris scored a team-high 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 shooting from three.
Napheesa Collier scored a game-high 29 points (9-of-15 shooting from the field) and 13 rebounds. The Sun's biggest challenge on defense will be Collier, who's averaging 27.2 points per game (and 9.3 rebounds) in the playoffs.
The Sun-Lynx series has been physical and chippy. Both teams need to leave everything on the court in Game 5. Expect the intensity to be ramped up to another level at the Target Center.
