How to watch Paige Bueckers and UConn Huskies play Boston University on Nov. 7
It's finally here. Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies will play their first official action of the 2024-25 season on Thursday. Connecticut is the No. 2 team in the nation behind reigning champions South Carolina.
The Huskies are coming off a 33-6 record season in 2023-24. UConn made it to the Final Four but came up short against Caitlin Clark and Iowa. It was impressive that Connecticut made it that far with the injuries that the team dealt with.
Bueckers is the BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year for the second straight season. She won BIG EAST Player of the Year last season. Sarah Strong was named the BIG EAST Preseason Freshman of the Year. The freshman is the No. 1 ranked recruit in ESPNW's Class of 2024.
Expectations are sky-high for Bueckers, who is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. It will be bittersweet for UConn fans to watch the redshirt senior play in her final season with the Huskies, but the future is bright with Strong.
When and where is UConn's first official game of the season?
Connecticut will play Boston University at the XL Center in Hartford on Thursday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
