We've made it to the week. What week? Oh, the start of Unrivaled, the new professional league co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.
The 3-on-3 will league will begin on Friday, Jan. 17, and continue for nine weeks. It allows WNBA players to stay in the United States rather than travel overseas during the offseason. The first game hasn't been played yet, but feedback about the league from players in Miami has been overwhelmingly positive.
Unrivaled features players from all 13 WNBA teams, including the Golden State Valkyries. It'll be must-watch for basketball fans regardless of which professional team they root for.
