Sabrina Ionescu connected on an incredible game-winning shot on Wednesday night. Ionescu was fired up after the win, but she also had a viral heartfelt moment after realizing what she had just accomplished, video via Yahoo Sports.

The Liberty won the game 80-77 to take a 2-1 series lead. Ionescu has spent her entire WNBA career with the Liberty and would love to win her first championship in 2024. New York still has one more victory to earn before they can truly celebrate, however.

Still, the moment after Game 3 will be remembered for years to come. Ionescu's shot and pose after are set to be cemented in the history books. Even if the Liberty lose, the moments will still be remembered. Of course, winning the WNBA Finals would make them even more memorable for Liberty fans.

Ionescu's clutch shot caught the attention of the entire basketball world. NBA stars such as Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic both shared reactions, while WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale had a message as well.

Sabrina Ionescu's postseason play in 2024 for Liberty

Ionescu ended up with only 13 points in the Liberty's Game 3 victory. Three of those points were obviously of the utmost importance, though. She has played well throughout the postseason, averaging 19 points per outing in nine games so far.

Ionescu is also shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from beyond the arc. The Liberty star is recording 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game as well. This has been Ionescu's all-around best postseason performance, and it is clear that she is intent on helping the Liberty win a championship.

When is the next Liberty-Lynx WNBA Finals game?

The Lynx will host the Liberty once again on Friday night. The Game 4 clash will present the Liberty with the opportunity to win the championship. Meanwhile, the Lynx will do everything they can to force a Game 5 back in New York.

If Minnesota accomplishes their goal, Game 5 will be played on Sunday in New York. However, if the Liberty accomplish their goal then they will return to New York for a championship parade rather than a crucial game.

Either way, Game 4 is unquestionably going to be pivotal. With the way the series has gone so far, it would not be surprising to see another thrilling contest.

Game 4 is scheduled for 8 PM EST in Minnesota.
