Angel Reese enjoyed a strong WNBA rookie season. She earned Rookie of the Year consideration, but Caitlin Clark ultimately won the award. Nevertheless, Reese is improving and could have an even better season in 2025. Reese still receives criticism at times, though. On Tuesday, a user on X (formerly Twitter) directed criticism toward Reese and the Chicago Sky star fired back.

Now Reese fired a shot back at the user. However, the part that stands out is Reese saying that "was the worst you'll ever see me." Reese played well in 2024, so that part of the message will surely catch the attention of Sky fans.

Angel Reese's rookie season

Reese averaged 13.6 points per game on 39.1 percent field goal shooting during the 2024 season. She is expecting to score at a more consistent level next year. Still, she contributed enough on offense to help her team.

Reese found consistency in recording double-doubles, though. She led the league with 13.1 rebounds per outing this past season.

With all of that being said, Reese does have room to improve. She did struggle around the basket at times. Again, though, she acknowledged it and is working hard to become a better player. And the fact is that she still finished second in WNBA Rookie of the Year voting.

Angel Reese is going to be a great player in the league. She is already one of the most popular stars in the entire WNBA. The WNBA saw a massive increase in attendance this past season, and Reese played a pivotal role in drawing in new fans. Many fans have followed her since her LSU women's basketball days.

Reese preparing for Unrivaled

Reese will participate in Unrivaled this year. The new league is set to debut in January. It presents players with an offseason option so they can continue to improve and prepare for the WNBA season.

It will be interesting to see how much attention the new league gets. Angel Reese will help to draw in fans without question, as will other stars such as the league's co-founders Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

For now, Angel Reese will continue to enjoy her offseason. Perhaps she will even fire back at social media critics again.
