All eyes may be on Phoenix, Arizona, this weekend as the Final Four plays out, but on Monday, April 13, everyone will be watching the 2026 WNBA Draft.

This year's draft is happening after the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) was finally negotiated between the WNBA and the WNBPA. While it's fair to say that this year's No. 1 overall pick isn't as immediately clear as the last two have been (there's plenty of debate about whether it should be Awa Fam from Spain or Azzi Fudd from UConn), much of the early round of the draft is safe to assume.

Things start to get murkier about midway through round two. Happily, this year two new teams — the Portland Fire and the Toronto Tempo — will make their debut, which creates 24 new roster spots (plus 1-2 players for each team's developmental pool). As a result, this year could result in more rookies actually staying in the league than have been able to in quite some time.

We still have nearly two weeks until the draft takes place, and a lot can change.
