First Husky off the board

JACKIE POWELL: With the ninth pick in the 2020 WNBA draft, the New York Liberty have selected Megan Walker, the 2020 ACC player of the year. Coming from the Connecticut Huskies and declaring for the draft as a Junior, Walker was called the best three point shooter in the NCAA by ESPN analyst and former WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo. Lobo also mentioned that Walker might not be a member of the Liberty for long, hinting at a trade.
