This mock draft work is unforgiving business.

Get your players straight, and they proceed to improve or regress. Talk to coaches and GMs about what teams want, and the rosters change. Injuries scramble the order, decisions in free agency alter team destinies, and still the games go on.

Then comes the global pandemic, and all the games stop. Typical March stuff.

Still, for many teams, a massively busy free agency has already shifted team needs, and even contention windows.

Some things, you’ll see right away, haven’t changed at all. The draft is still happening, too!
