So… will the Mystics retain Elena Delle Donne? Joke, obviously, but look at that 2020 number, add in a max deal for EDD and Kristi Toliver, both of whom are free agents, plus Emma Meesseman, and realize that “run it back” may quickly become a financial imperative as much as the beloved 2019 slogan. Adding shooter Rebecca Greenwell, hopefully back from injury, and a rookie scale athletic wing in Kiara Leslie could be the big offseason moves for Mike Thibault. Of course, you saw the Mystics play, right? That’s not a bad thing. A collision course with a fully-healthy Seattle Storm team featuring Bird and Stewart feels like a 2020 WNBA Finals we all deserve.
