#7 – Butler

Preseason predicted ranking: 7th

2018-19 BIG EAST Record: 11-7, 3rd
2018-19 Overall Record: 23-10, advanced to the WNIT Sweet 16

Key returners: Kristen Spolyar averaged 13.2 points per game for the Bulldogs last season and comes into the season as a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.

Newcomers: The Bulldogs welcome six newcomers for the 2019-20 season, including

Head coach: Kurt Godlevske enters his fifth season as skipper of the Bulldogs. He is the reigning Coach of the Year after a third place finish last season. In July, Butler signed Godlevske to a new multi-year deal.

Outlook: The Bulldogs put the conference on notice last season with their third place finish. However, memories seem to be short, as once again the Bulldogs are tabbed to place seventh in the conference. With six players to acclimate to the BIG EAST, Butler certainly has their hands full.
