As previously reported by High Post Hoops, the Dream have all six protected slots accounted for, which made it very hard to keep Damiras Dantas. Four of those carry over into 2020, while Angel McCoughtry and Alex Bentley’s deals end after this year, giving general manager Chris Sienko some additional flexibility this coming offseason… The Dream have $661,257 already committed for 2020, assuming they pick up the option on Brittney Sykes, and there’s zero reason to think that they won’t, Dream front office loves Sykes… it’s a real do-or-die camp for Imani McGee-Stafford, whose shot-blocking and shooting range would help multiple other teams is she loses what should be an interesting preseason roster spot battle with newly-acquired Marie Gulich…
