Milestone watch: WNBA player stats to watch in 2019

Some milestones are within reach this season.

Every year we see WNBA players hitting major career milestones: a 200th game, 1,000th point, or movement in the statistical leader boards abound week after week during the regular season. Increased longevity and improved consistency in to the later years of their careers also means players today are pushing career totals to new heights every season.

The all-time leaders in games played, points, assists, and rebounds are all still active and playing productive minutes, so records are being extended every week.

You can’t predict who might exceed expectations with a career-defining season or who might have a down year, but knowing what we do now about potentially active players in 2019, let’s take a look at some of the most likely player milestones to be reached in the upcoming regular season.
