Hofstra- CAA

Departed coach/record:  Krista Kilburn-Steveskey, 13 seasons (213-198 overall, 111-122 in the CAA)

Reason for departure:  Three 20+ win seasons during her time, including back-to-back such seasons from 2014-16, Kilburn-Steveskey resigned after a third straight losing season and seventh place or worse finish in the conference.

New coach/previous position: Danielle Santos Atkinson, Pitt associate head coach- A former Hofstra assistant early in her coaching career, Santos Atkinson takes over the program after one season at Pitt. Prior to that, she had been at Florida State for four seasons.

While the Pride program has seen some success over the past season ten seasons, they’ve still yet to win the CAA or make the NCAA tournament. As noted above, they’ve had a rough run as of late and will look to Santos Atkinson, who was part of two 20 win teams and two WNIT appearances when at the school previously, to get them over the hump.
