Hartford- America East

Departed coach/record:  Kim McNeill, 3 seasons (59-38 overall, 30-18 in the America East)

Reason for departure:  McNeill accepted the head coaching position at East Carolina University.

New coach/previous position: Morgan Valley, Arizona assistant coach- The former UConn great returns to the state for her first head coaching job. Valley has had a long, winding journey as an assistant coach, including stops at Arizona, Washington, Virginia Tech, UMass, New Hampshire, Towson, Holy Cross, and UConn.

Hartford has proven to be a stepping stone in recent years, losing the latest coach Kim McNeill to East Carolina and Jenn Rizzotti before that to George Washington. If Valley can continue the levels of success that her predecessors had, it might not be too long before she is being poached by a bigger school as well.
