It is extremely difficult for someone with Presley Hudson of Central Michigan to overcome either of the two hurdles she faces with WNBA talent evaluators. She’s just 5’6, an issue by itself in the eyes of many. And she’s a non-Power 5 player, also something that usually short-circuits WNBA dreams. But there’s just too much there to ignore, too: the elite three-point shot, fantastic court vision, finishing around the rim, you name it. And if you wanted to know how she’d look in the Big Ten, well: against Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament, she finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists and just one turnover.
