What a day for women’s basketball! I’m not sure what we did to deserve it, but we get TWO Top 10 matchups today and they should both be thrillers. #8 Stanford travels to historic Knoxville, Tennessee to take on the #9 Lady Vols, while #4 Mississippi State travels to Eugene in an attempt to beat #7 Oregon for the third straight season. The two SEC squads are both undefeated on the season while Stanford and Oregon have dropped one game each (to Gonzaga and Michigan State, respectively). #18 Kentucky also plays today, but it’s a guarantee game that they will win by a lot.

I’m 8-10 on picks this season and had Central Michigan won by one more point and Evansville had lost by two fewer points a few days ago, I’d be 10-8. This is why gambling is a bad idea, folks. Regardless, we will press on and break down the two aforementioned games, plus pick some other ones that will surely come back to bite me. Another reminder that all odds are from 5 Dimes, that you should only gamble if it is legal to do so, and if you have a problem gambling you should reach out for help.

Without further ado, let’s get to breaking down the games and start making some picks.
