We all know how the college basketball business works. Coaches get fired, a new one gets brought in to much fanfare, then hopefully in four years, your school isn’t starting the process over again. There are openings every year, however, and we have compiled a list of who might be “next”.

In order to compile a list of the top 30 up-and-comers, we spoke with people from across the women’s game- agents, coaches, administrators- plus broadcasters and insiders like Debbie Antonelli, Rebecca Lobo and many more.

For the purpose of this list, no head coaches in the Power Five conferences or the AAC were considered, nor were assistants or lower tier head coaches who had previously been a head coach at a Power Five school.

So, without further ado, here is the list in alphabetical order.
