The Big Ten is as wide open as it’s been in years.

There’s Maryland, as usual, but Brenda Frese’s team is young. Key players have left and the conference is facing a lot of parity this season. The biggest story this year will be former Minnesota Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen’s head coaching debut at the University of Minnesota. Still, don’t sleep on Rutgers, newly-revamped with transfers, or Nebraska’s devastating duo. There are interesting teams all over this conference, and expect more competitive games than ever.
