The ACC will be at the center of the women’s basketball world once again.

2018 was considered by many to be the best year yet for women’s basketball excitement.

With a thrilling NCAA Women’s Final Four, which notched record numbers in both viewership and online discussion, the future of women’s basketball is bright—especially for the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The 15-team elite conference had ample representation in the postseason, sending eight teams to the NCAA tournament, including two teams in the Final Four: Louisville, who was eliminated in the semifinal game after a 73-63 loss to Mississippi State, and the 2018 national champions, Notre Dame.
