Well, if you went with every one of my picks from Sunday, you broke even! Even as I picked Seattle over Phoenix, I wrote how I knew I’d come to regret it and sure enough, I did. Also: Dallas Wings. Whoa. Overall, opening weekend proved to be a good one, with several impressive offensive performances by both teams and individuals alike.

WNBA teams, it seems, usually take a few weeks to really hit their rhythm, as the short training camp and quick turnaround to game one doesn’t leave much room for teams to get a flow going. Two teams (Connecticut and Dallas) both score over 100 points. In contrast, it took nearly two calendar weeks last season for any two teams to break 90.

Just two games today with each featuring a 1-0 team plus another trying to get win number 1. Let’s get to the breakdowns.

Spread: 2-4
Over/under: 4-2
