2018 WNBA Draft Big Board v. 5.0: March movement
5. Seattle Storm: Jordin Canada, 5’6 G UCLA
Few did more to help their stock than Jordin Canada in this year’s NCAA Tournament, but you really had to be impressed by the way she single-handedly (really, she’d injured her wrist, played through it) kept UCLA in the game against Mississippi State. And she was the difference against Texas. I mean, did you see this?
Canada is a remarkable defender, excellent three-point shooter, and do not let her size lull you into thinking she can’t finish at the next level. She has moves upon moves, and pro-level quickness. Expect her to make an impact right away.
