Monmouth- MAAC

Departed coach/record: Jenny Palmateer, 6+ seasons (86-111 overall, 58-58 in the NEC/MAAC)

Season-by-season record:
2011-12: 19-13 (12-6)
2012-13:  15-15 (12-6)
2013-14: 8-25 (6-14)
2014-15: 13-18 (8-12)
2015-16: 14-17 (11-9)
2016-17: 15-16 (9-11)
2017-18: 2-7 (0-0)

Reason for departure: Palmateer took over a Monmouth program that was in great shape as current Fordham head coach Stephanie Gaitley built the program into a contender. Palmateer continued that success but as the school moved into a new conference, the success didn’t follow. The Hawks never had a really bad season, but they seemed to be middling around .500. Palmateer was let go after a 2-7 start to this season and assistant coach Jody Craig was named head coach. No word on if Craig is the permanent replacement or not.

New coach/previous position: Jody Craig, Monmouth assistant coach
