UIC- Horizon

Departed coach/record: Regina Miller, 7 seasons (95-122 overall, 55-76 in the Horizon, one WBI championship)

Season-by-season record:
2011-12: 18-13 (10-8)
2012-13:  9-21 (5-11)
2013-14: 26-9 (10-6) WBI Championship
2014-15: 16-14 (6-10)
2015-16: 12-18 (3-15)
2016-17: 6-25 (2-16)
2017-18: 8-22 (1-17)

Reason for departure: Under Miller, UIC made a huge jump from year 2 to year 3, increasing their win total by 17 and winning an WBI championship. Unfortunately, the Flames never came close to reaching those heights again. Following the WBI championship, the team’s conference win total decreased every season after that, only picking up one Horizon win this past season. The Horizon league is deep right now and the Flames just weren’t on the same level.

New coach/previous position: Tasha Pointer, assistant coach Northwestern
