Tuesday, May 29: Washington Mystics at Seattle Storm

Something’s got to give here: the Mystics bring back Elena Delle Donne, impossible to guard, against Breanna Stewart, one of the most gifted defensive players in the league. (She can score a little, too.) It will be fascinating to see how much Dan Hughes, another new coach, utilizes Stewart, and how much he throws new acquisition Natasha Howard at Delle Donne. The Storm are likely to be entirely different defensively than they were last year, and an early test of just how effective they will be will come against a Mystics team where virtually everyone can shoot it from anywhere.
