13. Georgia 19-2 (7-1 SEC)

The Bulldogs’ only loss since Dec. 3 was at home to undefeated Mississippi State. In that time, they’ve also beaten Missouri and Texas A&M. In other words, Georgia is maybe one or two solid wins away from a 3 seed.

14. Maryland 18-3 (7-1 Big Ten)

The 4 line is giving us a bit of a Big Ten logjam, but the Terps are the clear No. 1 for now, with a win over Ohio State last week. They play Rutgers Thursday night.

15. Ohio State 18-5 (7-3)

The Buckeyes seems to have recovered from their three-game skid, but not without some lasting wounds. They missed their only chance at beating Maryland and Iowa, but still host Rutgers and close out the non-conference at South Florida.

16. Michigan 19-4 (8-2)

Six straight wins have helped undo a weak non-conference schedule and some missed opportunities early on. Wins at Nebraska and Ohio State are the most impressive in that stretch with games against Purdue and Rutgers upcoming.
