It’s been two weeks since the NCAA first revealed its top 16 teams as they stood at that time. There were some surprises, like Georgia making the cut, as well as the confirmation of the obvious: UConn and Mississippi State as projected 1 seeds, for example.
Since then, conference play has given us some more twists. And while the sample size of meaningful data is now larger, there’s more confusion in there as well. Earlier this week, I pondered what to do with Tennessee, and it’s still tough to figure out. For now, they hold steady at No. 8 overall, but that can change in a hurry.
