11. Los Angeles Sparks: Jaime Nared, 6’2 G/F Tennessee

The opinions on Nared are as varied as anyone in the first round here. Some have her top six. Others wouldn’t take her until the third round. But a 6’2 versatile wing with WNBA body and skill set isn’t going to fall beyond this spot right now, even in a ridiculously deep draft like this one. She’s shooting just 25 percent from deep, but Brian Agler’s staff is as good as anyone’s at improving that skill. And a rookie contract for a key wing contributor will allow the Sparks, who have cap issues, to shop Essence Carson.
