Knoxville:

2. Tennessee
15. American (Patriot)

7. Syracuse
10. South Dakota State (Summit)

We actually have a procedural bump in this pod. Syracuse is an 8 seed in my true rankings, but got bumped up to a 7 to avoid forcing a potential all-ACC second-round matchup. If the Orange win in the First Round in this scenario, they’d get a Tennessee team that has lost three out of four, all to top-tier competition.

Los Angeles:

3. UCLA
14. Wyoming (Mountain West)

6. Oklahoma State
11. Princeton (Ivy)

UCLA, Oklahoma State, and Princeton all held their seeds from last week, while Wyoming entered the field by taking over first place in the Mountain West. Wyoming has won five straight but also has two sub-200 losses. The Tigers are off until Feb. 2.
