Knoxville:

2. Tennessee
15. American (Patriot)

7. DePaul
10. South Dakota State (Summit)

OK, Tennessee fans can yell at me for not giving the Lady Vols the nod at a 1 seed after their win over South Carolina this weekend. You have a strong argument. You also have games against Notre Dame and Mississippi State ahead this week. The best arguments are made on the court.

Waco:

3. Baylor
14. Little Rock (Sun Belt)

6. Duke
11. Quinnipiac (MAAC)

Baylor still only has one loss, but even with a 5-0 start to the Big 12, the Bears have a rough strength of schedule. At least, not quite good enough to warrant higher than a 3 seed right now. We’ll find out more about them when they face Texas and West Virginia back-to-back next week. Then there’s Duke, which has won three straight after surviving a rock fight with Virginia on Sunday. The Blue Devils are trending up.
