Spokane Region:

South Bend:

1. Notre Dame
16. New Mexico State (WAC)

8. Georgia
9. Florida Gulf Coast (ASUN)

Oh yes. That Notre Dame loss to Louisville was bad. It was real bad. But the 33-point defeat was just one game, and the Irish bounced back by trouncing Boston College on Sunday. They also own a win over South Carolina and eight overall against the RPI top 50.

Piscataway:

4. Rutgers
13. Belmont (Ohio Valley)

5. Villanova (Big East)
12. Mercer (Southern)

Hey, speaking of ugly losses, Rutgers lost to Purdue in a game that featured a COMBINED 80 points. It may have set the game of basketball back a few years, but it wasn’t quite enough to drop Rutgers from protected seed territory. The Scarlet Knights can thank a good bounce-back win over Minnesota for that.
