NCAAW Bracketology vol 2.0: Oregon joins the 2 seed line
Kansas City:
Starkville:
1. Mississippi State (SEC)
16. Southern (SWAC)
8. South Florida
9. NC State
The seeds held here as well, but you could argue that NC State deserved a bump up with a pair of wins over Georgia Tech and Syracuse at home. Of course the benefit of the ACC is that the Wolfpack have plenty more chances ahead, and that starts Thursday with a visit to the Tar Heels. Mississippi State is off until Sunday when they go to Knoxville for what could be the best game of the week.
College Park:
4. Maryland
13. UC Davis (Big West)
5. Arizona State
12. Buffalo
Buffalo hangs on as the second team out of the MAC, and the Bulls have an excellent non-conference schedule to thank. They beat St. John’s and Nebraska for two wins that will take them a long way if things don’t work out in the MAC Tournament. As for the Terps, they did drop a game to Michigan State (hardly a bad loss), but they have a chance to redeem themselves coming up against Ohio State.
