Albany Regional:

Storrs:

1. Connecticut (American)
16. Robert Morris (NEC)

8. Stanford
9. Virginia

There’s no surprise up top with UConn as the 1 overall seed and Robert Morris holding strong atop the Northeast Conference standings. Stanford and Virginia held their seeds as well, but Stanford was moved to Storrs for procedural reasons. That’s a happy accident that could result in a Hall of Fame coaching showdown in the Second Round.

College Station:

4. Texas A&M
13. Gonzaga (WCC)

5. Iowa
12. Northern Colorado (Big Sky)

Iowa and Texas A&M flipped seeds this week. The Hawkeyes’ loss to Purdue isn’t a bad one by any stretch, but the Aggies knocked off Tennessee, which, in turn, beat South Carolina. That far outweighs a home loss to Georgia.
