Question 4:  What are you most looking forward to seeing in 2018?

Potkey- I am most looking forward to seeing how many triple-doubles Oregon sophomore Sabrina Ionescu can get this season to keep building on her NCAA career record, and how the freshmen across the nation continue to blossom. Rookies are no longer waiting their turn. They are coming in ready to be stars, best exemplified by Texas A&M point guard Chennedy Carter. Tennessee’s “Fab Four” of Evina Westbrook, Anastasia Hayes, Rennia Davis and Kasiyahna Kushkituah have helped the Lady Vols remain undefeated. Oregon’s Satou Sabally, Oklahoma’s Ana Llanusa, South Carolina’s Bianca Jackson, Minnesota’s Destiny Pitts, Michigan State’s Sidney Cooks and UConn’s Megan Walker are just a few others making an early impact. It will be fun to watch how they perform during the most intense moments of the season.

Megdal- I’m headed to Starkville to cover a national championship rematch in February. Going to be hard to top that.

Dull- What is Tina Charles going to do? All WNBA fans are hurting for the Liberty and their present situation. With so much up in the air and the two single elimination exits fresh in her mind, would she consider starting fresh elsewhere? She’d certainly turn one Eastern Conference team mentioned earlier into a juggernaut overnight should she choose to take her talents elsewhere. 

DuDonis- NCAA Tournament selection day. It just never gets old for me seeing the bracket come together and then feverishly using a pencil to figure out all of the fun matchups that are possible down the line. Gah, March is the best.
